 DAYTONA
BEACH, FL (April 10, 2007) – The American Speed Association
Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment
is pleased to announce Scag Power Equipment as the Official Lawn
Mower of the Tour.
"Many Scag employees and Scag customers are die hard race
fans," reported Chris Frame, Manager of Marketing and Technology
for Scag Power Equipment. "Scag is proud to be the Official
Lawn Mower of the ASA Midwest Tour. The ASA Midwest Tour is right
in our backyard and we are honored to support some of the best
short track drivers in the country."
Scag Power Equipment was founded in 1983. From the original gear-drive
rider, to over 50 high performance models today, Scag has become
the largest independent manufacturer of commercial grade mowing
equipment in the country. Scag Power Equipment is known and respected
throughout the commercial power equipment industry for their innovation
and attention to quality.
“This is such a huge step forward in building the ASA Midwest
Tour foundation. The involvement of Scag Power Equipment enables
us to build for the future of the Tour with the development of
a long term relationship between the Tour, Scag, and our supporting
racers. I am so excited about this partnership because the people
at Scag are elated to be able to be a part of our Tour. Just take
a look at the quality of the companies currently involved in the
Tour; it says it all about the future of our success,” ASAMT
VP Steve Einhaus explained with a smile, "Scag mowers can
give you more time to pursue your passion for racing by cutting
your mowing time in half when compared to ordinary yard tractors. Less
time spent mowing means more time to spend at the track."
Scag Power Equipment has manufacturing plants in Mayville (WI),
West Bend (WI), and Greensboro (NC). All Scag mowers are
proudly made in the USA. More information about the company
is available online at www.ScagRacing.com
