Scag Power Equipment, a Division of Metalcraft of Mayville, is pleased to announce its new EVZ electric zero-turn riding lawn mower has been nominated for the 2022 Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest. The annual competition, presented by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and Johnson Financial Group, aims to highlight the state’s manufacturing industry. 
“The EVZ is Scag’s first electric-powered product, and we couldn’t be more excited to showcase within this fantastic program,” says Meghan McCabe, Corporate Marketing Manager for Metalcraft of Mayville.
A popular vote will take place at www.madeinwis.com from September 19-27 to determine the Top 16 products that will be placed into a bracket-style tournament called Manufacturing Madness. Products will then compete against one another in head-to-head matchups, and those that receive the highest votes in each match-up will advance to the next round. The overall winner will be announced on October 19 at WMC Foundation’s Business Day event in Madison.
Participants may vote once per device, every 24 hours, at www.madeinwis.com to help support this great locally-built product. The nominated products are listed in alphabetical order by company name, and the Scag EVZ can be found under Metalcraft’s entry on page four (4) of the website’s listings.
